Create a personal manifesto

Your personal manifesto, creed, or magna carta, is a set of rules or guidelines for how you want to live your life.

Your personal manifesto can take the form of a poster, like the one above from Holstee.

Or perhaps your personal manifesto will include resolutions such as:

  • To see myself as the creator of my life and of my world. To refuse to hand my power over to outside circumstances or other people.
  • To decide exactly what it is that I want.
  • To cultivate peace of mind.
  • To not take things personally; to realize that nothing others do is because of me, what others say and do is a projection of their own reality.
  • To have no need for the approval or validation of other people.
  • To be myself. To be authentic. To live life in my own way.

Or, maybe a set of happiness commandments is more your style:
  • Be yourself.
  • Let it go.
  • Act as I want to feel.
  • Do it now.
  • Be polite and be fair.
  • Enjoy the process.

No two manifestos will be alike. Your manifesto will only include the guidelines or rules that are important to you!
