Light up a paper wreath

This delicate-looking wreath that creates the magical effect of candles flickering in the snow is easy to make and surprisingly sturdy. Wreath frames are strung with twinkling lights that are nestled in frothy, doilylike paper bouquet holders known as "Biedermeiermanschetten." You could also use regular paper doilies to create a similar effect.

If you'd like to to recycle paper instead, make paper snowflakes and use them in place of the doilies. Make enough snowflakes so they overlap as in the doily instructions.
